Strawberry Shortcake Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box 15.25 oz strawberry cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup crushed golden sandwich cookies
  • 3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix cake mix, eggs, and oil until a thick batter forms.
  • Spread batter into dish and bake for 18 to 22 minutes until set.
  • Let cool completely.
  • Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Fold in whipped topping and spread over cooled brownies.
  • Mix crushed cookies, gelatin powder, and melted butter.
  • Sprinkle crumb mixture over cream layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.

Notes

Cool brownies completely before adding topping.
Chill before slicing for clean layers.
Use fresh strawberries for extra flavor if desired.
