strawberry preserves
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until combined.
Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt to form brownie batter.
Spread most of the batter into the pan, reserving a small portion.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour cheesecake mixture over brownie layer.
Add dollops of strawberry preserves and reserved brownie batter.
Use a knife to swirl layers gently.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until center is set.
Cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy.
Swirl gently for a marbled effect.
Store in refrigerator for best texture.
