Strawberry Cheesecake Brownies

Strawberry cheesecake brownies with fudgy chocolate base and creamy cheesecake swirl. Easy dessert recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • cup granulated sugar for cheesecake layer
  • 1 large egg for cheesecake layer
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract for cheesecake layer
  • cup strawberry preserves

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until combined.
  • Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt to form brownie batter.
  • Spread most of the batter into the pan, reserving a small portion.
  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour cheesecake mixture over brownie layer.
  • Add dollops of strawberry preserves and reserved brownie batter.
  • Use a knife to swirl layers gently.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until center is set.
  • Cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy.
Swirl gently for a marbled effect.
Store in refrigerator for best texture.
