Steak and Cheese Garlic Toast

Steak and Cheese Garlic Toast with sliced steak, melted cheese, and crispy garlic bread baked to perfection.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound steak sirloin or ribeye
  • 6 slices garlic bread or thick bread
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Season steak with salt and pepper. Cook in skillet with olive oil until desired doneness. Rest and slice thinly. Mix butter and garlic. Spread on bread and bake at 375°F until golden. Top bread with steak and cheese. Bake until cheese melts and bubbles.

Notes

Slice steak thinly against the grain for tenderness.
