Ingredients

shrimp, crab, or white fish

chicken or seafood broth

heavy cream

frozen peas and carrots

potatoes

pie crust or biscuit dough
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Melt butter in a pan and cook onion until softened.
Add garlic and cook briefly.
Stir in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes.
Whisk in broth until smooth.
Add cream and cook until thickened.
Stir in vegetables and potatoes.
Add seafood and cook briefly.
Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
Top with pie crust or biscuit dough.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Do not overcook seafood before baking.
Thicken filling before baking to avoid soggy crust.
