Seafood Pot Pie

Seafood Pot Pie with creamy filling, tender seafood, and a golden crust, perfect for a comforting dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb mixed seafood shrimp, crab, or white fish
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 cups chicken or seafood broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 cup potatoes diced (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese optional
  • 1 pie crust or biscuit dough

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Melt butter in a pan and cook onion until softened.
  • Add garlic and cook briefly.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  • Whisk in broth until smooth.
  • Add cream and cook until thickened.
  • Stir in vegetables and potatoes.
  • Add seafood and cook briefly.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
  • Top with pie crust or biscuit dough.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Do not overcook seafood before baking.
Thicken filling before baking to avoid soggy crust.
Let pie rest before serving for best texture.
