Premium Loaded Twice Baked Potatoes

Premium loaded twice baked potatoes with creamy filling, cheese, and bacon. Easy comfort side dish recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • ¼ cup green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Wash and pierce potatoes, then bake for 45 to 60 minutes until tender.
  • Let potatoes cool slightly, then cut in half and scoop out the inside into a bowl.
  • Mash the potato with butter, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Stir in cheese, bacon, and green onions.
  • Spoon mixture back into potato skins.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until heated through and slightly golden.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Mash potatoes while warm for smoother texture.
Do not overmix to avoid dense filling.
Top with extra cheese or green onions if desired.
