Ingredients

grated

large egg

garlic powder

ground beef

onion
chopped

garlic
minced

cup
shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

teaspoon
salt
for filling

black pepper

oil
for frying
Instructions
Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned.
Add onion and cook until softened, then add garlic and cook briefly.
Season filling with salt and pepper and set aside.
In a bowl, mix grated potatoes, egg, flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Place a portion of potato mixture in the pan and flatten into a pancake.
Add beef and cheese on top, then cover with more potato mixture.
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
Repeat with remaining ingredients and serve hot.
Notes
Squeeze excess moisture from potatoes for better texture.
Do not overfill to keep pancakes intact.
Serve with sour cream or dipping sauce.
