Instructions
In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Take a portion of potato mixture and flatten it.
Place a cheese stick in the center and wrap potato mixture around it to form a stick.
Prepare three bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
Dip each stick into flour, then eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for extra crispiness.
Heat oil to 350°F and fry sticks for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Cool slightly and serve.
Notes
Chill sticks before frying to prevent cheese leakage.
Seal edges well to keep filling inside.
Serve immediately for best texture.
