old-fashioned rolled oats

natural peanut butter

honey or maple syrup

coconut oil
melted

vanilla extract

Instructions
Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix oats and salt.
In a microwave-safe bowl, warm peanut butter, honey, and coconut oil until smooth.
Stir vanilla into the peanut butter mixture.
Pour wet mixture over oats and mix until fully combined.
Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Press mixture firmly into prepared pan.
Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until set.
Slice into bars and serve.

Press the mixture firmly to help bars hold together.
Store bars in the refrigerator for best texture.
