One Pan Lemon Caper Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons capers drained
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Add pasta, chicken broth, olive oil, and minced garlic to a large pan.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Cook for 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed.
  • Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and capers.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper, mixing until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
Rinse capers if you prefer less saltiness.
Add chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
Reheat with a splash of broth to keep pasta from drying out.
