Ingredients

milk

small onion

large egg

black pepper

ketchup

Worcestershire sauce

yellow mustard
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk and let soak briefly.
Add onion, egg, salt, pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Mix until combined.
Add ground beef and mix gently until just incorporated.
Transfer mixture to a baking sheet or loaf pan and shape into a loaf if needed.
Spread a thin layer of ketchup over the top.
Bake for about 60 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender. Resting before slicing improves texture.
