Classic homemade apple cake made moist with fresh apples and warm spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • cups vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 cups fresh apples peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients separately. Combine gently. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake at 350°F for 45–50 minutes. Cool before serving.

Notes

Use firm apples for best texture.
