Ingredients

12 rolls Hawaiian sweet rolls

–8 slices cheese
American, cheddar, or Colby Jack
¼
cup
unsalted butter
melted
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
¼
teaspoon
salt
1
teaspoon
dried parsley

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
Slice the entire slab of rolls horizontally without separating them.
Place the bottom half into the baking dish.
Layer cheese evenly over the rolls.
Place the top half of the rolls back on.
In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and parsley.
Brush butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes until tops are golden.
Cool slightly, separate, and serve warm.
Notes
Do not overbake. Covering first keeps the rolls soft and melty inside.
