Black pepper to taste
Instructions
Lightly grease a microwave-safe dish with butter or oil.
Add water to the dish.
Crack egg into the dish carefully, keeping yolk intact.
Microwave for 40–60 seconds depending on desired doneness.
Check after 40 seconds and continue cooking in 5–10 second intervals if needed.
Remove carefully and season with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Pierce yolk lightly to prevent bursting.
Cook in short intervals for best texture.
Use a shallow dish for even cooking.
