Microwave Egg & Cheese Sandwich

Microwave Egg & Cheese Sandwich Recipe with fluffy eggs, melted cheese, and toasted bread ready in minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 English muffin or 2 slices bread
  • 1 –2 slices cheese or 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp butter or oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cooked bacon or sausage
  • 2 tbsp spinach
  • 2 –3 tomato slices
  • Hot sauce to taste

Instructions
 

  • Lightly grease a microwave-safe mug or bowl.
  • Crack eggs into the mug and add milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Whisk until fully combined.
  • Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir.
  • Microwave another 30 seconds and stir again.
  • Continue cooking in short intervals until eggs are set but soft.
  • Toast the bread or English muffin.
  • Place eggs onto the bread and add cheese on top.
  • Microwave for 10–15 seconds if needed to melt cheese.
  • Add optional toppings and assemble the sandwich.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Cook eggs in short intervals to avoid overcooking.
Use a larger mug to prevent overflow.
Customize with different fillings and bread options.
