Microwave Cloud Egg

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large eggs
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh herbs chives or parsley

Instructions
 

  • Separate egg whites from yolks, placing whites in a clean bowl and yolks aside.
  • Whisk egg whites until thick and fluffy with soft peaks forming.
  • Gently fold in salt, black pepper, and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Line a microwave-safe plate with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Spoon the whipped egg whites onto the plate and shape into two small nests.
  • Create a small well in the center of each nest.
  • Carefully place one egg yolk into each well.
  • Microwave on high for 1 to 1.5 minutes until whites are set.
  • Check doneness and microwave an additional 10–20 seconds if needed.
  • Let rest for 30 seconds before serving and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Do not overmix egg whites or they may collapse.
Adjust cooking time depending on microwave power.
Add toppings like avocado or toast for a more filling meal.
Serve immediately for the best texture.
