Maple Donut Bars

Maple Donut Bars baked soft and topped with a smooth maple glaze for a bakery-style treat at home.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Maple Glaze
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 –3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch pan. Whisk dry ingredients. Mix butter and sugar, add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients gently. Bake 18–22 minutes. Mix glaze ingredients and spread over warm bars. Let set before slicing.

Notes

Use pure maple syrup for best flavor. Do not overbake.
