Ingredients

packet taco seasoning
or 2 tablespoons

cream cheese
softened

sour cream

shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

salsa

large eggs

cup
onion
chopped

cloves
garlic
minced

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned.
Add onion and cook until softened, then add garlic.
Stir in taco seasoning and a little water and simmer until thickened.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Spread beef mixture in the baking dish.
Pour creamy mixture over beef and spread evenly.
Top with cheese and salsa.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until set and bubbly.
Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth texture.
Let casserole rest before serving.
Customize with toppings if desired.
