- 12 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 ½ cups cooked lobster meat chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and cook garlic briefly.
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, then gradually whisk in milk and cream.
Cook until the sauce thickens, then add cheeses and stir until smooth.
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Add cooked pasta and lobster to the sauce and mix gently.
Transfer to a greased baking dish.
Bake at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly and slightly golden.
Let cool slightly before serving.
