Loaded Cheesy Pocket Tacos

Loaded cheesy pocket tacos with crispy tortillas, seasoned beef, and melted cheese. Easy dinner recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or 2 tablespoons
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup salsa
  • Olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and a small amount of water, then simmer until thickened.
  • Lay tortillas flat and add a layer of cheese, followed by beef mixture, then more cheese.
  • Fold tortillas into sealed pockets.
  • Heat a skillet with a small amount of oil over medium heat.
  • Place tacos seam-side down and cook until golden and crispy, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  • Remove from heat, cool slightly, and serve.

Notes

Do not overfill to prevent opening.
Cook seam-side down first for better sealing.
Serve with dipping sauces like salsa or sour cream.
