Keto Pizza Casserole

Keto pizza casserole made with Italian sausage, pepperoni, cheese, and low-carb pizza sauce. A crustless comfort food dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Italian sausage mild or spicy
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 ½ cups low-carb marinara or pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup black olives or bell peppers optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking into crumbles.
  • Drain excess grease and season with onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with eggs until smooth.
  • Stir in half of the marinara sauce.
  • Spread cooked sausage evenly in the baking dish.
  • Pour cream cheese mixture over the sausage and spread gently.
  • Top with pepperoni, olives or peppers if using, and remaining marinara sauce.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  • Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use thick, no-sugar-added sauce for best keto results. Drain meats well to prevent excess moisture.
