Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup salsa or taco sauce
  • ¼ cup refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • ¼ cup jalapeños

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • If using raw dough, roll it out into a 12-inch circle or rectangle.
  • Place on a lightly greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Bake the plain crust for 5-7 minutes to prevent sogginess.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  • Drain grease, then add taco seasoning & water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Spread salsa or taco sauce evenly over the crust.
  • Add refried beans (if using) for extra flavor.
  • Evenly distribute the taco meat over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle cheddar & mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • (Optional) Broil for 1-2 minutes for a crispier finish.
  • Once baked, top with lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, and jalapeños.
  • Drizzle with sour cream or taco sauce.
  • Slice and enjoy your homemade taco pizza!
