Ham Piirakka
Ham piirakka with creamy filling, eggs, and cheese in a flaky crust. Easy savory pie recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 1 ½ cups cooked ham diced
- 4 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream or half-and-half
- ½ cup onion chopped
- 1 cup shredded Swiss or cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cook onion in a skillet until softened.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and cream until smooth.
- Stir in ham, onion, cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Place pie crust in a dish and pour in filling.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until set and lightly golden.
- Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
