Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Protein powder (whey isolate or pea-rice blend)
  • ½ cup Plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Almond butter or flaxseed
  • ½ cup Rolled oats or chia seeds
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk or coconut water
  • Optional: 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Pour the almond milk or coconut water into the blender base first.
  • Add the protein powder, Greek yogurt, and your choice of almond butter or flaxseed.
  • Add the oats or chia seeds to the blender.
  • Layer in any optional frozen fruit or ice cubes on top to act as a weight.
  • Blend on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to high speed until the texture is perfectly creamy.
  • If adding chocolate chips, drop them in at the very end and pulse for 2 seconds to incorporate without liquefying.

Notes

Always sip your shake slowly over 20 to 30 minutes to mimic the digestion of a solid meal and improve satiety signals. Use the overnight oat method by pulsing the oats and liquid first if you prefer a smoother texture. Keep stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours if needed.
