Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet.
Boil potatoes until tender, then drain.
Place potatoes on baking sheet and smash gently.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Bake until crispy and golden.
Heat skillet over medium-high heat and add oil.
Cook steak bites in a single layer until browned.
Add butter and garlic and toss to coat.
Cook briefly until fragrant and remove from heat.
Serve steak bites with crispy smashed potatoes.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the pan when cooking steak.
