Easy garlic asparagus pasta with lemon and Parmesan cheese.

bunch fresh asparagus
trimmed and cut

olive oil

garlic
minced

lemon juice

teaspoon
lemon zest

salt

black pepper

teaspoon
red pepper flakes

cup
grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cook pasta in salted water. Add asparagus during last minutes. Drain. Sauté garlic in olive oil. Toss pasta and asparagus with lemon, seasoning, and pasta water. Stir in Parmesan and serve.
Notes
Reserve pasta water to loosen sauce as needed.
