Garden Salad with crisp vegetables and a light homemade dressing, perfect for a fresh and easy meal.

romaine lettuce
chopped

cherry tomatoes
halved

cucumber
sliced

red onion
thinly sliced

carrots
shredded

olive oil

lemon juice or vinegar

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
black pepper
Instructions
Wash and dry all vegetables thoroughly.
Chop lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
Slice cucumbers and halve cherry tomatoes.
Thinly slice onion and shred carrots.
Add all vegetables to a large bowl.
Mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
Pour dressing over salad.
Toss gently until evenly coated.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Keep dressing separate if making ahead.
Use fresh ingredients for best flavor.
Do not overdress the salad.
