Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches

Fried strawberry cheesecake sandwiches with crisp golden bread, creamy cheesecake filling, and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Butter for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in diced strawberries gently.
  • Lay out four slices of bread and spread cheesecake mixture evenly, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Top with remaining bread slices and press gently to seal.
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides lightly.
  • Place sandwiches in the skillet and fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Dust with powdered sugar and slice diagonally before serving.

Notes

Serve warm for best texture. Flip gently to prevent filling from leaking.
