Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish optional
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or Swiss cheese
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, horseradish if using, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Spread the mixture evenly over each flour tortilla. Layer thinly sliced roast beef over the cream cheese, followed by shredded provolone or Swiss cheese. Roll each tortilla tightly into a log. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up. Slice into 1-inch rounds. Prepare au jus by combining gravy mix with water in a saucepan and simmer according to package directions. Serve roll ups chilled or at room temperature with warm au jus for dipping.

Notes

Chill roll ups before slicing for clean cuts. Use freshly shredded cheese for best flavor. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat au jus gently before serving.
