Ingredients
- 8 hot dogs
- 8 hot dog buns
- ½ cup hot sauce
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes optional
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds while stirring.
- Pour in hot sauce and add brown sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and chili flakes if using. Let the sauce simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
