Filipino Pancit Recipe

Traditional Filipino pancit made with rice noodles, chicken, and vegetables.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces rice noodles
  • 1 pound chicken breast sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 cup julienned carrots
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup sliced green beans
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Soak noodles. Cook garlic, onion, and chicken. Add vegetables, soy sauce, and broth. Add noodles and cook until tender. Serve with lemon.

Notes

Do not overcook noodles to avoid mushy texture.
