Feta Dumplings

Feta Dumplings Recipe with soft dough, creamy feta, and rich pine nut sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 Fresno chili chopped
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine flour, feta, egg, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Shape dough into small dumplings.
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Cook dumplings for 3–4 minutes until they float.
  • Remove dumplings and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook pine nuts until golden.
  • Add garlic and chili, cooking briefly.
  • Pour in heavy cream and stir until smooth.
  • Add lemon juice and salt.
  • Add dumplings to the sauce and toss gently.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Do not overmix dough to keep dumplings soft.
Watch pine nuts closely to avoid burning.
Adjust spice level by reducing chili if needed.
