Easy Pizza Roses for Valentine’s Day

Easy pizza roses made with pizza dough, pepperoni, sauce, and cheese, baked into rose shapes for a festive Valentine’s Day treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 13–16 oz refrigerated pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups pepperoni slices
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a muffin tin.
  • Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  • Cut dough lengthwise into 6–8 long strips.
  • Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce down the center of each strip.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  • Layer pepperoni slices along one edge, slightly overlapping.
  • Fold the bottom half of the dough strip over the filling.
  • Roll the strip tightly into a rose shape.
  • Place seam-side down into the muffin tin.
  • Brush tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan if using.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Cool for a few minutes, then remove and serve warm.

Notes

Notes:
Use thick pizza sauce to prevent leaking. Let roses rest briefly before removing from the pan to keep their shape.
