julienned carrots

raisins

slivered almonds

ground cardamom

Instructions
Rinse and soak rice. Cook onions and spices. Add rice and water and cook until tender. Sauté carrots, raisins, and almonds with spices. Top rice and steam briefly before serving.
Notes
Soak rice for best texture.
