Dr Pepper Ice Cream

Dr Pepper ice cream with creamy texture and soda-inspired flavor. Easy no-churn dessert recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Dr Pepper soda
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ΒΌ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Pour Dr Pepper into a saucepan and simmer over medium heat to reduce slightly, then let it cool completely.
  • In a bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture.
  • Add the cooled Dr Pepper reduction and mix until combined.
  • Pour mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth the top.
  • Freeze for at least 6 hours or until firm.
  • Let sit for a few minutes before scooping and serving.

Notes

Reduce soda to concentrate flavor and avoid icy texture.
Do not skip whipping cream for a smooth consistency.
Store in airtight container for best freshness.
