Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 2 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup mini rye chips or bagel chips
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 250°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, and rye chips. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, pickle juice, dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Pour butter mixture evenly over the cereal mixture and gently toss until coated. Spread mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 45–60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes for even coating and crispness. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before serving or storing.

Notes

Bake at low temperature to prevent burning. Stir during baking for even seasoning distribution. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week to maintain crunch.
