Crispy Pickle Cheese Bites

Crispy pickle cheese bites made with sharp cheddar and baked until golden. A fast, crunchy snack ready in 20 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese freshly shredded
  • 24 dill pickle chips patted dry
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill optional
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spoon about 1 tablespoon of shredded cheese into small mounds on the baking sheet, spacing them several inches apart.
  • Flatten each mound slightly and sprinkle with dried dill or black pepper if using.
  • Press one pickle slice gently into the center of each cheese mound.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are golden and crisp.
  • Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting and crisping. Let bites cool briefly so they firm up before removing.
