pasta
penne, fettuccine, or linguine

unsalted butter

olive oil

garlic

heavy cream

chicken broth
½
cup
freshly grated Parmesan cheese

tablespoon
lemon juice
1
teaspoon
Italian seasoning

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
black pepper
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
Season salmon with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook salmon for 3–4 minutes per side until just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and lemon juice. Simmer gently until slightly thickened.
Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Add cooked pasta and toss to coat, using reserved pasta water if needed.
Flake salmon into large pieces and gently fold into the pasta.
Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Cook salmon just until done to keep it tender. Reheat gently to avoid drying out the fish.
