Ingredients

green cabbage
chopped

ground beef
1
small onion
chopped
2
garlic cloves
minced

cup
heavy cream
4
ounces
cream cheese
softened
1
cup
shredded cheddar cheese
2
tablespoons
butter
1
teaspoon
salt
½
teaspoon
black pepper
½
teaspoon
paprika
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a casserole dish.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add onion and cook until softened.
Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
Stir in chopped cabbage and cook until slightly softened.
Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
Transfer mixture to the prepared casserole dish and spread evenly.
Top with remaining cheese.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use green cabbage for best texture. Let the casserole rest briefly so the sauce thickens.
