Chipless Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Cream butter and sugars until smooth. Add egg and vanilla and mix until combined. Add dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Scoop dough onto baking sheet. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges set and centers remain soft. Cool on baking sheet briefly before transferring.

Notes

Do not overbake. Cookies firm up as they cool.
