Chicken and Swiss Crescent Braid

Chicken and Swiss Crescent Braid with flaky crescent dough and creamy chicken filling, perfect for an easy meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 2 cans 8 oz each crescent roll dough
  • 1 ½ cups Swiss cheese shredded or sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup cooked bacon optional
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet.
  • Mix chicken, cream cheese, Swiss cheese, bacon, and seasonings in a bowl.
  • Roll out crescent dough and press seams into a rectangle.
  • Place dough on baking sheet and cut strips along sides.
  • Spread filling down the center.
  • Fold strips over filling to form a braid.
  • Brush with egg wash.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly, slice, and serve.

Notes

Do not overfill the braid.
Seal strips gently for best shape.
Serve warm for best texture.
