Cheesy Beef and Rice Skillet Dinner

Cheesy Beef and Rice Skillet Dinner with seasoned beef, tender rice, and melted cheese, an easy one-pan comfort meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can 14 oz diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook onion until softened, then add garlic.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Stir in tomato paste and spices.
  • Add uncooked rice and mix well.
  • Pour in beef broth and diced tomatoes.
  • Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook until rice is tender.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top and let melt.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use long-grain rice for best texture.
Add cheese at the end for smooth melting.
Adjust seasoning to taste.
