Cheeseburger Pockets
Cheeseburger pockets made with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and baked dough for an easy handheld dinner.

Ingredients

can refrigerated biscuit dough or crescent roll dough
8 pieces
1
pound
ground beef
¼
cup
onion
finely chopped
1
teaspoon
salt
½
teaspoon
black pepper
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
2
tablespoons
ketchup
1
tablespoon
mustard
1
cup
shredded cheddar or American cheese
1
large egg
for egg wash
1
tablespoon
sesame seeds
optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
Season beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Stir in ketchup and mustard and remove from heat. Let cool slightly.
Separate dough and flatten each piece into a circle.
Spoon beef mixture onto one half of each dough circle and sprinkle with cheese.
Fold dough over filling and pinch edges tightly to seal.
Place pockets seam-side down on baking sheet.
Whisk egg and brush over tops. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Let the filling cool before assembling to prevent leaks. Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer for best results.
