Candied Flower Donuts Recipe

Elegant baked donuts topped with sparkling candied flowers.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Candied Flowers
  • 1 cup edible flowers
  • 1 large egg white
  • ½ cup superfine sugar
  • Glaze
  • cups powdered sugar
  • 2 –3 tablespoons milk or water
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Candy flowers with egg white and sugar. Dry fully. Bake donuts at 350°F for 10–12 minutes. Cool. Dip in glaze. Top with candied flowers.

Notes

Decorate donuts shortly before serving for best texture.
