Buttermilk Dressing

Creamy homemade buttermilk dressing with fresh herbs and garlic perfect for salads and vegetables.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • ¼ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs chives, parsley, or dill

Instructions
 

  • Whisk buttermilk and sour cream in a bowl until smooth. Add olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard. Mix well. Stir in fresh herbs and season with salt and pepper. Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Fresh herbs provide the best flavor. Store dressing in the refrigerator and stir before serving.
