Brownie Pecan Pie

Brownie pecan pie with fudgy chocolate base and crunchy pecan topping. Easy decadent dessert recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups pecans
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • ½ cup brown sugar for topping
  • 2 large eggs for topping
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for topping
  • ¼ teaspoon salt for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
  • Mix butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt and mix into batter.
  • Spread batter into dish.
  • Whisk corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, and salt.
  • Stir in pecans and pour over brownie layer.
  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until set.
  • Cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

Do not overbake to keep center soft.
Let cool before cutting for clean slices.
Serve with ice cream if desired.
