Baked Lemon Butter Chicken

Baked lemon butter chicken made with juicy chicken, garlic, and fresh lemon. A simple and flavorful oven-baked meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken thighs or breasts
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, combine melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Place chicken in the baking dish and pour the lemon butter sauce over it.
  • Bake for 30–40 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce.
  • Cook until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for a juicier result.
Add vegetables or potatoes to make it a full meal.
Adjust lemon juice for desired tanginess.
Reheat with extra sauce or broth to keep chicken moist.
