Baked Jumbo Shells Stuffed With Cheesy Taco Meat

Ingredients

jumbo pasta shells
1
lb
ground beef
1
packet taco seasoning
or 2 tablespoons

cream cheese
softened
2
cups
shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
1
cup
salsa
½
cup
sour cream
½
cup
onion
chopped
2
cloves
garlic
minced
½
teaspoon
salt
¼
teaspoon
black pepper
Instructions
Cook pasta shells until al dente and drain.
Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned.
Add onion and cook until softened, then add garlic.
Stir in taco seasoning and a little water and simmer until thickened.
Add cream cheese and mix until smooth.
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
Stuff shells with beef mixture and place in dish.
Pour salsa over shells and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly.
Top with sour cream and serve.
Notes
Cook shells carefully to avoid tearing.
Do not overfill shells.
Customize with toppings if desired.
