Baked French Eggs

Baked French Eggs Recipe with creamy eggs, soft yolks, and simple ingredients for an elegant breakfast.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs
  • ½ cup cooked bacon or ham
  • 1 cup spinach

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Butter small ramekins or baking dishes.
  • Add a spoonful of cream into each ramekin.
  • Crack one egg into each dish.
  • Pour remaining cream evenly over eggs.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and optional toppings.
  • Place ramekins in a baking dish and add hot water around them.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until whites are set and yolks slightly soft.
  • Remove carefully and serve warm.

Notes

Use a water bath for even cooking.
Watch cooking time to keep yolks runny.
Serve immediately for best texture.
