Ingredients

cod fillets
about 6 oz each

olive oil

cloves
garlic
minced

large lemon
sliced

tablespoons
lemon juice

teaspoon
salt
½
teaspoon
black pepper
½
teaspoon
paprika

tablespoons
fresh parsley
chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and place in the dish.
Drizzle olive oil over the fish.
Sprinkle garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika evenly over the fillets.
Pour lemon juice over the fish and place lemon slices on top.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Do not overcook to keep fish tender and moist.
Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
Thaw frozen cod completely before cooking.
