Bacon Jam Cheeseburger Sliders

Bacon jam cheeseburger sliders made with juicy beef, melted cheese, and sweet-savory bacon jam. Perfect for parties or quick dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1 large yellow onion diced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese halved
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  • Leave a small amount of bacon grease in the pan and add diced onions. Cook until soft and golden.
  • Add garlic, brown sugar, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  • Chop the cooked bacon and return it to the skillet. Simmer for 10–15 minutes until thickened into a jam consistency.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Form ground beef into small patties or press into a baking dish and cook until fully done.
  • Season beef with salt and black pepper while cooking.
  • Slice slider buns and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Add cooked beef, then top with cheese slices.
  • Spread bacon jam evenly over the cheese layer.
  • Place top buns over the sliders and brush with melted butter.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and buns are lightly golden.

Notes

Cook onions slowly for better sweetness and deeper flavor in the bacon jam.
Adjust sweetness or tang by changing maple syrup or vinegar amounts.
Store leftover bacon jam in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Reheat sliders in the oven wrapped in foil for best texture.
